Kelly was All State, all FCIAC and All American in high school. She was rated the top female golfer in New England and led her high school team to state every year and won. She was undefeated in her high school career.

She went on to win the All American golf tournament in her junior year in Virginia Beach and was named Cannon’s GHO Golfer of the Year two years in a row. She also won the Danbury Amateur in 2007. She went on to Barry University in Miami Florida on a full scholarship and played there for two years.

She turned pro in 2007 and joined the Future’s Tour in January of 2008.
