Sunday's Best® - Tseng May Break Records But Creamer Claims Another Style Win

ROCHESTER, NY (June 26, 2011) - Following a drizzly week, the sun finally came out at Locust Hill Country Club for Wegman’s LPGA Championship allowing the players to show their style and leave the rain gear behind.

Huge crowds filled the course as Yani Tseng broke records making history as the youngest player to win four major championships. Though Yani was breaking records, Paula Creamer drew attention with her pink highlighted hair.

“Paula’s pink highlights added some flare to her cute pink skort and striped pink shirt” said women’s golf clothing designer Tracey Lynn Blake. “It showed how a little creativity and accessorizing can make an outfit”.

Tournament leaders were wearing a variety of bright colors and patterns to kick off the summer schedule. Tseng wore our favorite hot pink color on top, and white knee length shorts that would have been cute if they weren't slung so low.

"Tseng's low ride shorts were unflattering and drew attention to all the wrong places," Blake said. "Nobody looks cute with a muffin top."

The other LPGA players wore a variety of golf skorts and skirts in addition to shorts.

“Many of the women golfers this week chose a basic black and white bottom with a bright colored,” Blake said. "Orange and yellow were popular among the players this week, as they have been throughout the season."

The cooler temperatures during the week restricted most of the players to wearing rain gear that we saw in more neutral colors. As things warmed up so did Creamer and her pink outfit. As usual, The Pink Panther brought her game with matching pink shoes, hat and golf bag to ultimately complete her ensemble and earn Blake’s pick as Sunday’s Best®. “Paula’s outfit was fun and functional” said Blake.

Getting a nod from Blake was Morgan Pressel as she wore a yellow skort with black shirt and matching black earrings. Pressel continues to show how women’s golf apparel can be fashionable and functional.
