Tracey Lynn Featured In Golf Week

Golf Week recently came out with a special edition issue, Golfweek for Her. This publication features the women who play golf, the equipment they use and  apparel they wear on and off the course. In that issue Tracey Lynn's Blue Leopard Sleeveless Shirt, from the American Rebel collection, was featured on Style Watch. This year, the animal prints are still on trend and Tracey Lynn is leading the way.

TRACEY LYNN'S TRENDS

The other day I was interviewed by a Ganette publication to discuss trends and the tracey lynn golf clothing line.  (We will post the link with the interview once it’s up and running.)  Since that interview, I’ve been thinking about one of the questions that I was asked which was “where do you see things trending?”

Clothes People Actually Wear

The Wall Street Journal, reporting from Fashion Week in New York today, makes two observations I think are critical to our customers— that designers need to create “clothes people actually wear” and that designers newest looks must get “from catwalk to closet faster.”

Nothing frustrates a wholesale buyer more than having to wait months for delivery.  Nothing frustrates a ritual customer more than having to wait weeks for backorders.

Mixed Media Fashion

"Mixed media" is the trend identified in reviews of the runway shows in Milan this past week-- the combining of luxurious touches into every day garments.

Think fur and wool, leather or suede and wool, along the neck, shoulders or sleeves. All were seen in Milan in the collections presented by Gucci, Botega, Fendi and Cavalli.

The best piece we caught a glimpse of- a black faux-fur sleeved leather motorcycle jacket.

Tracey Lynn Expanding Into Japan

Tracey Lynn will be introduced at the 2010 PGA show in Japan this Friday, February 19, 2010!

Designer 2010 Trends

So I love to catch up on all my reading during flights – its sacred, undisturbed time for me. I usually have at least half-a-dozen WWD (Women’s Wear Daily) and then a smattering of Inc., Fortune Small Business and of course, the coveted Nieman Marcus catalogues. I love the NM catalogues…the clothes are absolutely beautiful, even if they are sometimes outrageously priced.
