On Tuesday, November 2nd Tracey Lynn attended the luncheon put on by the Women's Development Association and Fashion Group International of Denver at Pinehurst Country Club that benefits the abused women and children in Lahore, Pakistan. To help benefit the women you could donate directly to pay for a microloan or one year of schooling. They also auctioned off gift baskets and the local designers who sold their goods at the event donated 10% of sales that day.
Tracey Lynn has continued to grow throughout the years. Just this past week we moved into warehouse event space where locals in Denver, Colorado will be able to attend trunk shows, try on clothes and see the latest collections first!
Tracey Blake, founder and designer of Tracey Lynn said, " The expansion into our new space is going to help us further our relationship with local customers, we are home grown and we want to give our customers a place where they can come view and try on our latest collections."
In a recent issue of Women's Wear Daily, an article reported shorts are "having another fashion moment." Many retailers are pushing women's shorts this summer and report doing double-digit increases in shorts category already this year.
Bloomingdale's signage is touting shorts as "the summer essential from minis to to knee-length". and Lord & Taylor is quoted as being up 30 percent in womens short sales.
