So I’m at California Pizza Kitchen in the Vegas airport and I spotted a female Army Airborne personnel. If you’ve ever heard my story, and most likely you haven’t, one of the big things that came out of my Guillian Barre Syndrome is that we all have self-limiting beliefs. So where am I going with this? Well, it dawns on me that this Army woman has pushed herself beyond what she probably ever thought she was capable of. We don’t know her story, but she’s putting herself out there each and every day. I made a speech to the Denver Athletic Club's Women in Business group this week. It was very exciting to tell my story and help other women entrepreneurs to accomplish the goals they have set for themselves. I hope I was able to inspire someone by telling my story of how my paralysis caused me to rethink my life and goals.
